  • Direct access to NSPC leadership for mentorship and professional advice

Eligibility

All UVA students, regardless of major, are eligible to apply for our Research Assistant positions and summer internship program.

Application Process

We accept a small number of Research Assistants during the school year and run a formal internship program every summer. If interested, please send a cover letter, resume and writing sample (not more than five pages) to kg3fa@virginia.edu.

“I thought that the NSPC did an incredible job coordinating and allowing interns to work on a variety of truly interesting projects that were not just “busy work.” I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to work at the NSPC this summer.” – 2020 Summer Intern

“Thank you so much for the opportunity to work with the NSPC all summer! I enjoyed the projects I was on, and this is the most experience I’ve gotten doing research in an internship. Also, all supervisors are very helpful with both project-related questions and in conversations about searching for a career.” – 2020 Summer Intern
